Casa Sao Joao is in the middle of the Alto Minho region of Northern Portugal, just a few kilometers from the lovely town of Ponte de Lima.
From the house there are uninterrupted views of the surrounding area, used mainly for agriculture, with many olive trees and vine.
The property is private and is set in a quiet and peaceful area.

Entrance to the house is on the first floor which has the living room, kitchen and 2 double bedrooms sharing a bathroom.
The kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and a washing machine. An adjacent small room has an iron and board.
The living room has sofas, satellite television, radio and a games table.
Stairs give access (not suitable for children) to the lower floor with one twin bedroom which has a salamandra making it pleasant for winter stays. There is a door leading onto the garden. There is a small shower room.
Another door gives access to the garage.
From the garage there is a separate double bedroom with ensuite shower room.
The house has central heating.

On the same level of the first floor, there is a terrace from where it is possible to enjoy from a splendid view over the green valley. There is a stone table seating up to 8 persons and sun loungers.
The lawned garden has many trees providing a refreshing shade in the warmest hours of the Summer season.
The garden also has swings for children.
The swimming pool's dimensions are 10 by 5 metres and depth varies from 0,90 to 2,20 metres.
There is a shower room by the pool area.
The covered barbecue area is equipped with cooker and fridge and traditional pottery of the region. It has a wooden table seating up to 10 persons.

There is a good restaurant 1 km away and a supermarket approximately 3 kms away.
Braga, a bustling town, and Guimaraes, known as the cradle of Portugal can be easily reached by motorway.
Porto International airport is approximately 81 kilometers away.
The old sailing town of Viana do Castelo and its beaches are 22 kilometres away.
Ponte de Lima golf course is a few kilometres from the house and also has an excellent restaurant.
