Upstairs from the main entrance, there is another lounge with a snooker table and a veranda with views to the Atlantic Ocean.

Next to it, there is a room with a pool table.

Opposite and a few stairs up, are the bedrooms.

The master room has a double bed, TV, en suite shower room and a veranda with sea views.

Another double bedroom has a balcony with the same views.

This bedroom shares an independent bathroom with the other three bedrooms. One has two beds and the other two have double beds. There is a TV in one of these bedrooms. The three bedrooms have views to the rear of the property.

Adjacent to the house, there is a garage with room for two cars. There is a table tennis table and other games and also a small laundry with a washing-machine.

In the patio, it is possible to park a further three cars.

At the rear is a barbecue and a stone table with seating for up to 8 persons.

About 200 metres away, there is a single track train line where the occasional train passes.

A lovely view over the town is from Santa Luzia Mountain - or better still while sipping a drink on the terrace of the Pousada.

To the north is the small border town of Caminha where it is possible to cross the Minho River by ferry to visit Santa Tecla Mountain and the towns of Spain.

There is a mini-market in the village of Afife, a supermarket is six kilometres away and there is a good choice of restaurants nearby where the specialty is local fresh fish.
