It is an excellent choice for people who are looking for peace and beautiful countryside.

All rooms have central heating. Five bedrooms have direct access to the garden.

Downstairs there is lounge area with Satellite TV and DVD player, and a dining area with tables seating up to 12 people.

Stairs go to higher level area with sofas and a pool table.

There is a small kitchen with 4 hobs, small fridge, freezer, microwave and toaster which is not suitable to cook for a large party.

The owner lives in a separate part of the house which does not have access to the guests area.

In a separate building, there is a museum which hosts the owner's collection of restored vintage motorcycles, which are mainly Indian makes.

The barbecue area includes a large round granite table for 12 people.

The old sailing town of Viana do Castelo is about 12 kms away. The town has a beautiful square with a medieval fountain. From the square, cobbled streets with balconied houses lead down to the River Lima and the marina.

For dining out, Viana has plenty of restaurants to choose from. Alternatively you may to visit nearby Ponte de Lima with its Roman bridge and sample the excellent Vinho Verde wine.

There are a number of excellent golf courses in the area.

The sandy beaches of the Atlantic coast are about 6 kms. away with one of them very popular with water sport lovers.

For nature lovers, the Peneda-Geres National Park offers breath taking views.

The nearby motorway gives easy access to Porto airport, about 65 kms away, and also to Vigo airport in Spain approximately 100 kms. away.
