Penha Longa's history dates back to 1390 when a monastery was built which is now being lovingly restored by master craftsmen and is a cherished part of Portugal's heritage. The setting and surrounding landscape make Penha Longa a perfect holiday destination.
Being situated on the 12th hole of a championship golf course obviously makes this an attractive villa for those keen on golf and this is assisted by a 30% reduction on green fees. It is also close to the Estoril Formula I circuit.
Guests have use of a 'Guest card' for the Caesar Park tennis court, health studio and the indoor and outdoor swimming pools.

Accommodation

The accommodation consists of five bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed and ensuite bathroom.
There is a twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom, and two twin bedrooms sharing a bathroom.
In addition, there is a smaller bedroom containing two single beds.
On the ground level there is a hall, a spacious lounge and a well equipped kitchen.
The villa is air conditioned and also centrally heated for those wishing to stay during the winter months.

In the small garden, there is a barbecue and a small plunge swimming pool 7 m by 4 m. There is also a patio area near the pool.

Lisbon is 25 kms. away and the historic town of Sintra with its magnificent Palaces and parks is a short drive away.
The villa's close proximity to Cascais, Sintra, Lisbon and the Atlantic beaches also makes this an attractive property for non golfers.
The villa is well situated for those who like beaches there is the wild west coast and the south facing, attractive resorts of Estoril and Cascais which used to be an old fishing village.
