There are four bedrooms. The master bedroom, on the ground floor, has a double bed and an en suite bathroom with a shower over a free standing cast iron bath.
There is also a twin bedroom with en suite bathroom, that has a bath with shower attachment.
On the first floor there is a double and a twin bedroom that share the same bathroom that has a free standing cast iron bath and a separate shower.
Both bedrooms on the first floor have French windows that open out onto an Arab style terrace.
A large combined sitting / dining room has a stone fireplace and enjoys panoramic views of the valley. It also includes satellite television and a video.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave and a fridge freezer.
A separate utility room has a washing machine.

Gradil, the local village, offers simple shopping and also has a good restautrant run by the village mayor. Larger shops can be found in Mafra which is 15 kilometres away.
The long sandy beaches of the west coast of Portugal are 25 kilometres away with Ericeira, famous for its seafood and fishing restaurants, being the closest to Casa Marreco.
The house is well positioned being close to many interesting places to visit within an hour drive.
These include Lisbon, the religious shrine at Fatima, the convent of Alcobaca, the monastery of Batalha, the medieval town of Obidos, the town of Sintra with its palaces. In addition there are local markets, the Golega horse fair and other individual sites of beauty and historic interest.
The house does have heating using a metered gas supply. The payment for gas is made locally to the owner.
