The house is surrounded by a walled garden with many kind of flowers and grape vines overhead to provide shade.

The cooking area is in a central range which separates the dining area which seats 8 persons. Leading off there is a cloakroom.

Steps lead up to the upper floor being the level of the front door.

A large lounge has a picture window leading on to a balcony with the splendid view over the valley of the Minho River. There is cable television in this room.

The bedrooms are on this floor which include a master bedroom with a double bed and hand-built furniture. French windows lead on to a balcony. This room has an en-suite bathroom.

Across the passage is a small double room with en suite shower room. A French window leads to the swimming-pool area of the garden.

Enjoying the view is a twin bedroom and also a small bedroom suitable for two children.

A bathroom is separate. There is also an utility area with a washing-machine.

The house has central heating for winter lets.

Close by is a sitting area shaded by vines.

There is a separate building attached to the house. This has a games room with bar, fridge, table tennis, a fireplace and sofas.

In front is a long patio with an outside dining area with the views across the valley. There is a basket ball net on this patio.

There are six canoes which are available to be taken down to explore the calm waters of the River Minho.
