The area is mostly vinyards since by the wine culture dominates the region but also by some subsistence agriculture with small pasture and maize cultivation.

From the corridor, there are stairs giving direct access to an attic bedroom which has a double bed and also a computer with games. This room is not suitable for children due to the stairs. Separate bathroom.

On the ground floor, there is an ample lounge for entertainment with table for up to 5 persons and dards. It has access to the exterior.

At 100 metres from the house is a river called "Rio Cabrao" where in the summer it is agreeable to have a bathe and also where you may enjoy from wonderful views.

There is a minimarket at 500 metres. The nearest restaurant is in Refoios at 4 kms and you may find many restaurants with Portuguese specialities in Ponte de Lima which is at a distance of 9 kms.

Viana do Castelo the head town of the region is located at 25 minutes driving and there is now a highway which permits to arrive at Braga in 30 minutes.

Thanks to the new motorway system you may also care to visit Vigo, Baiona and Santiago de Compostela in Spain and the Portuguese cities of Braga, Guimaraes and Porto.
