An unusual feature of the house is that most external walls are curved and the personality of the owners is fully reflected in the thought that has gone into this unusual property.

There are 2 golf courses near the house, Estela is an 18 hole championship course and Quinta da Barca is a 9 hole course.

The entrance opens to a large living room with an open fire, exposed roof timbers and a sunken sitting area.

Cleverly set into the large chimney breast is a bar area.

The dining area has a door leading to the fully fitted modern kitchen.

An arch leads to an interestingly painted piano and a passage with the doors to the bedrooms.

The master bedroom has an antique double bed and ensuite shower room which again, is full of interesting architectural features.

The second bedroom has twin beds.

The third bedroom resembles a ship's cabin with two substantial bunk beds built into the structure.

The fourth bedroom again features 2 sets of bunk beds sleeping four persons.

There is also a wash room which has a shower and toilet.

There is also a small reading room and a shower room.

The house is surrounded by extensive lawns with tall pine trees providing natural shade.

The large curved swimming pool is 16 metres long and 6 metres wide. The depth is from 1.10 metres to 1.95 metres. From 1 October to 31 May the swimming pool is not available.

There is a very popular area, one kilometre from the house where a number of fishermen's buildings have been converted into fish restaurants.

Other places to visit include the old sailing port of Viana do Castelo, the Peneda-Geres National Park, the walled town of Valenca and, Vigo, Baiona and Santiago de Compostela in Spain. Also, the Portuguese cities of Braga, Guimaraes and Porto.
